FUNCTIONAL ENGLISH aims at developing communicative skills for learners by emphasizing the essential knowledge, skills, and understanding to apply English in everyday life especially in the workplace context. It is designed to equip learners with the ability to function and interact effectively in both oral and written forms besides using workplace communication skills as well as to develop the required skillsets to ace in the job-hunting world. In addition, it also guides its learners to apply digital communication skills effectively in typical professional settings in their related fields. Overall, this course will enable students to function as independent language user between CEFR B1 and CEFR B2.
